Tyrannosaurus

Tyrannosaurus

Folded on the 16th November 1997

Hold on to your hats, ladies and gentlemen! If you thought the Pegasus was magnificent, this creature is AWESOME! Though the t-rex in this picture isn't folded as well as I wanted to, it nevertheless shows ferociousness, especially with its 8 teeth! I have added nails to its toes and they don't look too bad either. :) This was folded from an A3 square in 2 hours because I could only fold 4 teeth with an A4. Also, no tweezers were used. This is my 5th attempt. The model requires extremely high precision folding during the precreasing. Oh yes, created by Fumiaki Kawahata! I will most probably be attempting this model again using an A4. Till then, this is all you get to see! :)

22nd July 1998 update.

I have folded many more of this big lizard, one of which is made from A4, I call it Baby T-rex... the one above is Mother T-rex.. and there's one Giant T-rex.. how big is it you say? 34" paper my friend, yes.. that's right. :)
