Welcome to my origami gallery.
"Ori" actually means folding while "Gami" means
paper, so if you have never heard of origami before, then you are in for
a treat! Origami is a very interesting form of art for people of all ages.
It is simply the process of creation by folding paper and what can be created
is very much dependent on your imagination and skill.
In a short time to come, an exhibition will be held at the Nanyang
Polytechnic Open House, there will be a wide range of origami on display
in the booth, including some from overseas. Works on display will mainly
be from Ronald Koh, Albert Sng, mine and some local folders.
The location of the booth is at Block E, level 3, Student Development Forum.
This display will be held from the 17th to 18th February, from 9 am to 5pm.
On 19th February, there will be a Origami Workshop at Block S, Level 4, room
474. This workshop will commence at 9 am. See you there!
Unless otherwise stated, all the models you will see here are folded
from a single piece of square paper with no cutting nor additional drawing
of details as I feel that they are the basic requirements for the ultimate
show of creativity.
All the pictures here were done by me and they have been through some
kind of image processing to produce the desired colors and effects. If
you feel that I have missed out any credits where it is due, please let
me know. Meanwhile, I invite you to enjoy as what Robert J. Lang refer
to as the "culturally finer things in life."
