 Completed on the 28th March 1999 Expected the unexpected, for the best has yet to come. Just when I thought origami complexity has reached its climax, here comes another model by Takeshi Hojyo which displays holiness. This model of the Maitreya is not as well folded as I expected it to be, due to the lack of time for practice. This is my 6th attempt with A3 paper, the crown and face broke everytime I was near completion. I spent a week in camp folding it, probably added up 3 hours.
